Back to It

The past six months have been interesting. I spent a semester teaching macroeconomics to college undergraduates, took the Jeopardy! exam, adopted a second kitty, heard Bill Nye the Science Guy speak, had a child graduate from high school, started going to the gym again, visited Costa Rica for the second time, and completely neglected my weblog.

I’ve missed writing and I have plenty of material, so it’s time to get back to it. I have a ton of ideas bouncing around in my head, but plan to start with the Costa Rica trip while it is fresh in my mind. First things first, though – tomorrow is Laura’s summer orientation at Truman State University and we have a few preparations for that, so this post will be a short one.

Here is a preview of coming attractions, from el Jardín de Mariposas en Puntarenas. Mariposa (butterfly) is one of my favorite Spanish words. It sounds just as pretty as the object!
